About Briar Nightingale

Briar is a celestial seal born during a rare event that happened 210 years ago called the Floralis Astra (floor-ehs Ass-tr-ah). Where the Southern lights turned a pastel pink and blue. When Floralis Astra was happening a magical flower bloomed in the snow of the aurora's. Briar then bloomed from the magical flower. After a while they started learning how to change into their humanoid form, while they still have an animal form, they don't care to leave the humanoid form.After a but of living in Antarctica they found a cove where everyone's dreams turn into snowflakes, they call Velaris Cove (Veil-arr-ehs kowv). They took the Floralis Astra with them to the cove and started collecting dreams, cataloging them, and most of all protecting them. Not only are they protecting dreams but their presence is also encouraging the flower to bloom, causing it to infuse beautiful colors into the sky.While Briar doesn't necessarily like it, they tend to eat nightmares. A lot of the time nightmares will disguise themselves as dreams and try to sneak its way into Velaris Cove. When you're around Briar you tend to notice that they're always in a state of chronic tiredness because they physically can't sleep. They can "nap" with you meaning that they can lay with you and protect you easier but have to live vicariously through you when it comes to sleeping.
